I am opposed to SOPA & PIPA. I recognize that the government has outsourced the writing of laws to the highest bidder, and I recognize that music and movie execs…
I’m looking into leaving Time Warner for our Cable internet, and decided to check on my speeds over at speedtest.net. Turns out not to have sucked too much, really. Faster…
It’s January 2012, and that seems like a really good time to upgrade my workstation.
It’s been a long time since I’ve done a real overhaul on my computer system.
So the week of soups comes to its thrilling conclusion, culminating in what Casey said was her favorite soup: Custom Tortilla Soup.
It’s custom because I didn’t want to make chicken tortilla because we had awesome chicken noodle earlier in the week and I didn’t want to compete with my own product.
So I made Broccoli Cheese Soup.
Two days down of my year’s first culinary experiment, and so far, I’m a happy camper. (Soon, I’d like to be a *real* camper, but that’s another story.)
First, as you probably saw on Facebook, I made Beef stew.
Welcome to 2012, the home of culinary experimentation.
I’m going to play with themes-by-week this year, and I’m starting with soups.

Despite what I just tweeted, I don’t think my inability to grasp a few simple tech concepts is a symptom of getting old, although maybe, upon reflection, it is.
Bottling: complete! If you’re interested, you can read the entire story right here. The wine is good, if a little fruity and low-alcohol, but for an all-natural wine that I…
For years, AVG has been my antivirus scanner of choice – it was fast, didn’t bother you, and didn’t bother my computer.
Just a stupid little note to show a picture of a small box of cables that I threw away yesterday while going through my computer cable box.
I’ve been working, believe it or not. With my impending departure for South America with Bon Jovi looming, I’m looking at a foreshortened timeline and thinking about how I can…
An ode to Google Maps
You have to click Read More to see the map because otherwise it’ll bork my layout.
I’m not quite ready to ditch Win7 (but I’d like to!) on my main computer yet, but I’ve been having really good luck with Ubuntu, both as the only installation…
So Woot got bought by Amazon. What’s the business end of this deal? I’ve read the Blog Post, I’ve seen the video, and I’m still a little confused, or at…
Just performed an applications reset on my Pre because there was some weird issue where there was a blank application that was keeping my phone from updating some of the…
And to prove it, I bring you this: Tonight, I mixed Sunday night’s leftover Bell Pepper Stuffing (a chicken-based dish with rice and onion, etc.) with Monday night’s leftover Chili…
Over the last week or so, there’s been a change in the way my reader looks – all Gawker Media sites changed their full-text feeds to partial-text, AKA click-to-our-site-so-we-can-make-money-off-you feeds.…
