The NFL has always been a greedy, money-first “entertainment” company, but the deal that they made with DAZN is the most fan-hostile decision they’ve made in the 40+ years *I* have been watching NFL football. Dazen is HORRIBLE. It’s hard to quantify just how bad it is. You don’t remember how awful it was watching in “standard” definition on your old tube TV, but maybe you remember the first time you saw sports in HD. It changed the game, literally. Dazen streams in Windows Media Player from 1999. If that doesn’t mean anything to you, imagine blurry blocks of color smearing across the screen for three hours and you’re getting an idea.
And that’s when they can keep the stream UP. These no-talent fucks have such shit servers that the stream stutters every few seconds and goes to a blank screen all the damn time. A few times an hour, it just cancels your view and puts up an error. “Our techs are working hard to fix it.” Yeah, fuck you. A nine year old with a crank generator could put up more reliable servers than your third-world fucking trash.
I used to love football. I used to love watching the sport. This year has taken it all away from me. I won’t be resubscribing, and since I won’t be able to watch football at home anymore, that’s me lost as a fan. All because the greedy, incompetent fucks at NFL corporate are shitbirds who take the cheapest contract who will pay obscene amounts of money to provide paying fans with less than nothing. Fuck Dazen and fuck the fucking NFL.
