I think tonight was somehow landmark because I left the spot, not in defeat, not in drunkenness or exhaustion, but in time. In time to realize that I had fulfilled my wingman duties, in time that I know I wont be suffering in the morning. Well see what time I get to work, but the emergency of getting the car there is gone, so I might roll in a little later than planned.
