unlike the cornucopia in the topic icon, our house has no strewn fruit. What it does have are shiny wood floors, clean surfaces and vacuumed carpets. It even has a new vacuum thats supposed to suck up pet hairs and dander. It certainly sucked a lot of dirt out of the carpet, at least.
What else? Emily wrote her new Music Blog – awesome. I like opening the song in another tab as I read the post.
Ive been at the Crown Bar twice this week and Im going back today to do some work on their budding network. That and adding products to MWS have pretty much taken up my time this week. Well, I also re-watched Hackers last night, which was pretty much as awesome as I remember it, and then maybe 35% awesomer. I forgot that so much of the “hacking” that was done was social engineering (and dumpster diving). There was a lot made of the trippy visuals and the weird “hacking” environment shots (and they WERE weird), but almost no mention of the fact that the actual machine cracking was done by social engineering to get passwords and access codes. Johnny Lee Miller (who is from England, btw) has kind of a weird career (his accent in Trainspotting makes me interpret him as an entirely different actor), which is understandable, given the script of this one. Angelina was younger, wore her hair shorter, but was still 100% Angelina. How she managed to be hot as the weird-ass hacker chick amazes me.
Okay, Im going back to work. There are new pictures up, but Im not going to tell you where. Theyll pop up on the rotation eventually.
