Ive seen Buffalo Daughter live once, they opened up for Girls Against Boys. The drummer was “healthy”, squeezed behind his drums and never missed a beat. The bassist during a ten minute song played the same chord for the duration and never missed a note. They were terrific live and are a good rock band who has solid albums with lots of rock experimentation. This song is about wanting something just for a little bit. You are lost and you remember what you are missing. You fear you may never get back and you just want to experience it again. As the quote goes “Two minutes in Heaven are better than one minute in Heaven”. We are asking for five, is that so wrong? You cant be lost unless you have somewhere you have to get to.
