Its been a tough month for computers here, Ill tell you what. The carnage is almost unbelievable. My five-monitor experiment was a disaster and I somehow broke three of them just by using them. Sad times. My workspace feels all cramped and I cant get anything done – its amazing. Besides that, Ive been having troubles with video (not good when Im trying to edit it sometimes) and Im entirely out of HDD space. Did I mention that my CD writer doesnt read blank CDs anymore? Its a weird world, Ill tell you that.
Anyway, other than computer troubles, things have been going along swimmingly here. Im enjoying Anathem, and enjoying the fact that its taking me longer to read than one trip on an airplane. The disadvantage of that, of course, is that I have to work some but all I want to do is read. Im not sure that Im enjoying it as much as Quicksilver, but it certainly has its moments.
