I drove to Maine yesterday and had breakfast of sorts (a cup of tasty tea…) in Portland, ME. Then I drove south to Newmarket, NH to see a friend of the Sylva family, but she wasnt working, I was told, so I just had lunch and went on my merry way. I like that in the morning I was in Maine and in the evening I was in Los Angeles.
Now Im fighting an illness of some sort, it seems, so Im going to go back to work. Ive been slow all day, and my headache doesnt make things better.
I think I might just be fighting allergies because thats what Im always doing, but today feels different. Im all run-down and achey – not typical for post-travel for me at all.
I am looking forward to not getting on a plane for a month.
Edit: New Release Tuesday brings Anathem. It didnt break my budget, but given that its only Tuesday, Its not helping. But at least I can just read and do nothing else for a couple days after this. Yay.
