…when are you ever going to learn?
Pirates of the Carribbean was a mess! Too much going on, a la typical Hollywood sequel, it seems. With a million different things going on at once and none of them resolved, the movie was just trying to be too big. Cannibals? Davy Jones? A huge monster that eats ships? The East India Trading Company with the Evil corporate guy and the Evil hitman/spy guy? Norrington swooping in at the last minute with his OWN agenda? Yeah, it was all there.
Anyway, what a mess. It was enjoyable, but Im less psyched for the sequel 2 now, especially since this one cant stand without it. What is this, Kill Bill 1 & 2?
