The CA DMV says that my licence was suspended, turning a minor inconvenience on the way home last night into a major deal. They took my car away and wouldnt give it back this morning because, despite my letter clearly stating that I have until the 24th of April to clear my fine from December, the computer says otherwise. We all know that computers are always right, right?
Anyway, the worst 24 hours of the last few years are just unfolding, as my legs throb from biking to work with my computer bag on my back (I leave straight from work to go to NYC tonight, of course) and the DVM woman puts me on hold to go eat breakfast or something. I know no one with a valid CA drivers license (What? Yeah. I know…), so I cant go get my car, either. Effin weak. Ill update more as I know something.
