Hey. So two nights ago, I thought Id be good and use the neti pot to help out my ailing sinuses, right? Its helped moderately in the past and I thought, hell, maybe itll help now. Well, somehow I overheated the water, and, putting my hand atop the jar to shake it a little to finish the salt dissolve, I burned an inch-diameter circle in my hand. So I slept with an ice pack in my hand. Fun.
Then, yesterday morning, I was making an omlette and grabbed the handle way too close to the pan and, wham! – another burn. Again, slight, again, *really* annoying. Couple that with the fact that my un-neti-ed sinuses filled up overnight and woke me yesterday at 4am (I didnt give up and come downstairs till almost 5), and you had one sleepy, pissed off Matt here.
I did get some work done on Choice Investigations, though, so that was good. The most glaring thing wrong with it at this point is the lack of some important sounds. It could also use some color correction, and I wish wed had more time to get coverage, but with what weve got, were doing all right.
Anyway, thats all. Im going to get my shit in order and get some more work done before I edit again today. I also want to write some partnership notes and maybe work on a new website. The NBC thing seems to have fallen through, by dint of the fact that the guy wont return my calls. Hollywood is so fuckin childish. Man.
