Saw the 12:15 show of Harry Potter last night. Liked it quite a bit. I havent
been talking about movies as much as Id like to, so Im working on changing
that. I think I might be suffering from a lack of structure in my day-to-day
at the moment. Maybe I should get a job. Then, of course, I wouldnt have nearly
as much time, but still….
Matts Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix Review: |
I liked it. I didnt re-read the book before this movie came out, so the only major thing that stood out to me was the axe of the writer from the Daily Prophet. David Yates managed to get a lot of the angst that made the book so difficult to read into the movie without making it heavy-handed, but over-used the dream sequences at the expense of some Ron/Hermoine time. At least, thats what I would have put in the place of the dream bits Id have cut. Not a single mention of Quidditch, which is interesting, because Im pretty sure he plays some this year. The training sequences were really well-done (Patronus charms would look Yay, Harry. |
