Clapboard - Full Frontal Nerdity

Aarhus is pretty

(Pic moved to after the break)

Aarhus (or Arhus with a circle over the A) is a nice little town.  Not only because of the rainbow, but because there's a little, muddy river that runs through town that's flanked for a couple of lovely blocks by nice little eateries and shops.  Because they don't lock up their bikes here.  It's amazing.  First one I saw was just sitting by the sidewalk.  I thought it was abandoned - almost took it for a joyride. The town seems human-scale; it's the first proper town we've stayed in, and maybe the last, depending on how that place in Italy turns out.

Anyway, the rain held off for the show yesterday, soaking the opening act, but behaving for us, both through the eternal load in and the load-out.  Good stuff.  Now I'm off to Scotland, where I speak some of the language.  It'll be nice, since I've been moping around feeling badly that I don't speak Danish or Finnish or Norwegian. This afternoon I also will be booking my place to stay in Cairo, rounding out the necessaries for that particular trip.

Fun times!
