So... hi there.
Can't sleep. No drama or anything, just a fucked up clock from staying up till 5 yesterday then sleeping till 10 or something. ALMOST made it to sleep a couple hours ago at like 12, but when that failed, I knew I was in trouble. Eff.
16-hour drive from Montreal to Raleigh this morning, which was fun. The picture here was taken from the passenger seat of the tour bus as we passed the exit for UMBC. I sat there for awhile (from just before the Fort McHenry Tunnel to after the 495 split, in case you know what those things are) just watching the world go by from the passenger seat. I'm not at all sure when the last time I did that was. I'm actually not sure that I've ever ridden that route. I drove myself to orientation, I pretty much always drove for move-ins and outs... Dunno. Anyway, a lot has changed, but a lot's still the same. I'm sure you know that (especially since it's the same phenomenon the world over). Oh, and why on god's green earth can't the fucking mac mount my T2i or my phone's SD card as storage to it's fucking system? Linux gets this right, for fuck's sake.
Enough fucking. Sorry about that. Onwards.
We're going to NYC after tomorrow's show, so maybe I can do some cool stuff and get some serious working done then. I've been pretty good, but need to be even better before I can get all brag-y about it. I've done a little writing, although not as much of the type I'd planned to do as I'd have liked, and I've done quite a bit of tech stuff so far on this trip, and I'm thinking hard about writing a little more tonight before I go to sleep. We'll see.
Okay, that's it for now. Except that I just remembered that Elphie, who was featured in my last post, is all sick and shit, so you should send good vibes her way. And also tell Sharon to probably sleep in a bed some, too, and not just on the floor all the time. At least naps or something. That's just good sense. Get well, Elphie.
